Fazila is a qualified relationship counsellor, who works with both couples and individuals experiencing a range of issues affecting their relationships and personal well-being. She is committed to the counselling process as a powerful tool to facilitate perspective, self-awareness, and better coping strategies.
Fazila utilises an integrative approach to working with her clients, drawing on two main approaches, namely a psychodynamic and systemic approach which understands relationships and human development in the context of past experiences and the broader context we live in. Where appropriate other approaches are used as well, and occasionally Fazila will use creative techniques if it may benefit the counselling process.
Working in a gentle and balanced way, she is committed to providing a bespoke approach that considers your individual needs and background and works with you to build a shared perspective on the issues you bring and a set of goals to address these.
Examples of the kinds of issues that Fazila can help with include:
- Infidelity (including virtual infidelity)
- Communication issues
- Life transitions
- Low self-esteem
- Interpersonal and relationship difficulties
