About Claire
07399 398 418 About Me
With a focus on low self-esteem and confidence, anxiety, depression, and panic, I integrate multiple therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique journey. My mission is to help you discover your inner strengths and work towards a more fulfilling, empowered life.
I offer a warm, confidential, and supportive space. My approach focuses on uncovering the unhelpful thoughts and patterns shaped by past experiences and how they’re affecting you today. When we understand where these patterns come from, we can begin to make real, lasting change.
I work within an evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural framework, while drawing from a range of other approaches including compassion-focused therapy, solution-focused therapy and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. I’m also particularly interested in the mind-body connection and how this awareness can support healing and growth.
I bring understanding, maturity, integrity, and a wealth of life experience into my counselling relationships. My approach is collaborative, non-judgemental, and genuinely empathetic. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported.
You don’t need to have everything figured out — just bring honesty, openness, and your own lived experience. Together, we’ll explore what’s going on for you and create a realistic and meaningful plan for change.
As well as in person one to one counselling, I can also offer online and telephone sessions.
I believe we all hold the potential to grow and thrive. Therapy can help you reconnect with your inner resources so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
To support my work, I take part in regular individual and group supervision, and ongoing professional development to stay up to date with current research and best practice.
If you would like to start the process of counselling, I am happy to offer a short, introductory call to ensure that you feel that we can work together before beginning the process.
