Victoria offers counselling face-to-face and online via Zoom
Victoria is a Person-Centred Counsellor with advanced training in Emotion Focused Therapy. She offers a friendly and understanding space for you to work on thoughts and feelings that are leading to unhappiness and distress. Maybe you feel depressed, anxious or lacking in self-esteem? Or you’re experiencing emotions that frighten you? You may even feel detached or numb to your feelings.
Understanding your emotions can help you work out what you need or want in your life. Victoria will support you to identify, access and manage your emotions so that you feel more in control and able to deal with your personal difficulties and life challenges. She brings kindness, humour and compassion to counselling sessions.
She has considerable experience of working with people who are socially marginalised and affected by substance misuse, homelessness and poor mental health. Victoria is a qualified Iyengar Yoga teacher and can incorporate simple bodywork techniques into sessions to help reduce anxiety, release emotional pain and work with traumatic memories.
