Ben is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who can help you find out how you can deal with your current problems and figure out how you can use this knowledge to cope with future challenges that might come your way.
Ben is warm, open and honest. He will not judge you but can help you achieve a balanced outlook regarding what is troubling you right now.
You’ll work as a team to identify unhelpful thinking styles and behaviours, and together will figure out how you can make useful changes so you can start to feel like your old self again, or perhaps even work towards how you’ve thought you always wanted to feel.
Ben’s previous experience includes working with people who have faced challenges with:
- Exam-related stress
- Social Anxiety
- Low self-esteem
As well as CBT, Ben has experience in the use of elements derived from other psychological models and approaches, which means you’ll have a wide range of tools to choose from – you’ll find which ones suit you best while you work together.
Ben has a Diploma in Counselling and Group work. As a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) he adheres to their standards of conduct, performance and ethics.
